Story and photography by Kimberly Stephens The Texas-native lover of BBQ is back again to dish about 3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House - located in the heart of Frisco, Texas. 3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House is a full-service barbecue restaurant that has been open for 4 years, recently closed for approximately 2 weeks, and has now re-opened. In my personal opinion - it's now better than ever. With new management and menu by Chef Pete Rukes and pitmaster Bryan Shanahan, 3 Stacks was intentional about their customers' feedback when making menu changes. I’ve personally visited 3 Stacks multiple times before (because #foodlover) and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and elated with the menu changes and additions. 3Stacks is now also a scratch-kitchen and all bread, sausages, jams and other sauces all house-made.
