New Autumn Menu For Sweater Weather at Dough Plano

“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn - a mosaic of them all." — Stanley Horowitz

I’ve always loved the above quote, as autumn/fall/PSL season/whatever-you-want-to-call-it truly is an experiential mosaic of colors, temperatures, tastes, and smells.

And now, since it's finally acting like fall outside, what better time to bundle up in your coziest sweater and boots and pop over to taste some new season-serenading menu items?

I’ve sung my praises before about Dough being located in Plano , and now there’s even more to croon about, and then pop on over to taste what’s new from the team this autumn.

The Burrata at Dough is perfectly creamy, truly among my favorite in town. The new Autumn Burrata is no different. The House-pulled Mozzarella is filled with strands of Mozzarella and cream, then adorned with butternut squash, oak roasted mushrooms, toasted zucca seeds, hydroponic arugula, and micro greens. This beats Pumpkin Spice Latte all day in my book (fair enough, my book is made up almost entirely of cheese, but still).

Dough’s Autumn Bruschetta is light and reflects the season stunningly with oak roasted mushrooms, roasted garlic, tomatoes, and Parmigiano Reggiano.

Salad enthusiasts will be fully on board with the Autumn salad offering – Bluebonnet Farms hydroponic mixed greens, arugula, pomegranate seeds, and roasted butternut squash all decked out for full flavor with goat cheese, candied walnuts, Bosc pear, and a tangy maple mulled cider vinaigrette. Even I would make this salad a meal and be pleased as a pumpkin about it.

Finally, the Autumn Pizza is topped with smoked Pancetta, fresh figs, goat cheese, wilted arugula, and a healthy drizzle of Texas Swinney Bees mesquite honey.

Stop by Dough in Plano and delight your senses with a true taste of the season.
