Catering by Chamberlain’s In-Home Cooking Demonstration Parties

Photo courtesy of Catering by Chamberlain's  What could possibly be better than dining out at one of Dallas’ finest restaurants, noshing on food prepared by a world-class celebrity chef? How about that same world-class chef, in person, in your own home, teaching and cooking a gourmet meal of your choosing?  Picture the wine flowing, steak sizzling on the grill, friends gathered, while the chef offers his personal tips for cooking like a pro. Then you gather around the table to share each course.  That’s exactly what Catering by Chamberlain’s is offering with their in-home cooking demonstrations. These demonstrations are similar to home TV cooking shows where the guests learn the preparation from the chef, plate the dishes, then enjoy eating the benefits, except in this case you smell the scallop searing, and can personally interact with the chef himself. Tailored to the preferences of each individual client, each in-home experience can be exactly what you dream

Absolutely my favorite edifice in the Dallas skyline, The Hotel Crescent Court in Uptown rests royally amid the flourishing 11-acre grounds of The Crescent ©, a mixed-use development. I was delighted to receive an invitation to this stunning hotel to attend a media lunch at their daytime restaurant, The Conservatory, located in a glass-enclosed sunroom overlooking a peaceful courtyard garden area. Courtyard/garden area- Just to the right inside is the Conservatory At The Conservatory, breakfast and lunch are served daily, and brunch is served on Sundays. The Taste of Sound: A Recap

Amusé the band On the evening of January 21, I joined the kind people at Tutta's Pizza to experience my first Taste of Sound experience. I had no idea was to come, other than some sort of amusement of all my senses. I walked into a bustling room filled with musicians, cocktails, and noted a blindfold sitting atop my menu. My senses awoke that night to three of my favorite things: food, music, and art. The Taste of Sound is an immersive experience that brings together each sense, while also peaking your intellectual curiosity with art in one corner, music front and center, and food on the table. All of these things have been planned and paired to complement one another, a beautiful symphony of the senses. Once the event began, I quickly swooned seeing the passion and the collective talent that were the refreshing heartbeat of this event. The only thing cooler than the performance itself was also knowing the entertaining event is supporting a worthy cause. The event benefi

While I personally am pretending that football is over for the year, I'm fully aware that some of you people will be watching some important game this weekend. After two tough, last moment losses for my Crimson Tide and my Cowboys both in one week, I've been in a bit of denial, meanwhile gathering up watch party details and catering options for those of you who have not yet eaten yourselves into oblivion. Behold, the DFW Big Game Roundup. Not the Cowboys city-wide celebration I had hoped for, but a list, nonetheless. PDQ's new angus cheeseburger with bacon could makes a perfect pre-game meal.
