The Downtown Sherman Preservation and Revitalization board (DSP&R) proudly announce the third annual Stroll on the Square on October 11th 2014, a wine stroll featuring local wines and a selection of sweet and savory bites by local chefs.
The stroll will take place at various locations around the historic downtown Sherman square.
Competitors in the "Texoma Best Bite" throwdown are: Daddy Rex BBQ, Fulbelli's Restaurant, Blue Door Cafe, Chef Robert at Willowood Ranch, Tuscan Slice, Camino Viejo Restaurant, Bon Appetit Y'all, Merner Culinary, and Fusion Gourmet Catering by Victoria.
Participating wineries feature on the stroll are: Homestead Winery, The Winery at Willow Creek, Marker Cellars Winery, Landon Winery, Maydelle Country Wines, Lenoir-Sage Vineyards, Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards, Paris Vineyards, and another TBA.
Tasting locations on the square include: Sandi's Boutique, Knight Furniture, Touch of Class antique mall, Painting with a Twist, Bella Fontana Spa, Pickles & Pottery, The Foxy Bird Boutique, Herbal Apothecary, and Bean Me Up Coffeehouse and Cafe.
The wine stroll will be directly followed by music and dancing on Wall Street, to the tunes of Willy Kickit.
The DSP&R is a non-profit, board administered organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the central business district.
